Refund policy.
Short version: there are no refunds. Here is why that is fair, and exactly what we do when something goes wrong on our end.
Hapex does not offer refunds. Every agent is tested live before activation, so you see exactly what you are paying for the moment you commit. If a billed run actively breaks because of a Hapex-side failure (not a misconfiguration on your end), email support@hapex.ai with the run ID and we will credit the next month.
Why no refunds?
The Hapex build flow is designed so you cannot be surprised by what you buy. Before any charge is made:
- You describe exactly what the agent should do in plain English.
- You see the plan (Plus, Pro, or Max) or your Hapex Flow credit balance, and the projected monthly cost, before you activate. The Operator automatically routes each job to the right model, so you never pick a model yourself.
- You run a live test in the dashboard with real data and real logs. The agent must pass its own self-test before the activation button is reachable.
- You click activate. Only then does billing start.
That flow puts you in full control of what you are committing to. Refunds for a product you have already tested and activated would be inconsistent with that design.
When Hapex is at fault
If a billed automation run fails because of a problem on Hapex’s side (a bug in the runtime, a bad deployment, a capacity incident) and not because of a misconfiguration you made, we will credit your next month’s bill for the affected runs. To request a credit:
- Email support@hapex.ai.
- Include the run ID from your dashboard (visible in the run history tab of each automation).
- Describe what you expected to happen versus what the logs show.
We will review within two business days and respond with either a credit confirmation or an explanation of why the failure was not on our end.
Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription any time from /dashboard/billing. Cancellation stops future charges immediately and the agent runs through the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees, no lock-in, no notice period required.
After the billing period ends, the automation is paused. Your data, automation definition, and run history stay in your account until you delete them or close your account entirely.
